SWEET LOVIN LOU takes Cane Pace

SWEET LOVIN LOU swooped the field and upset at 14-1 to win the $310,750 (G2) Cane Pace 3-year-old Open at the Meadowlands in a lifetime best 1:47.3.

Driven by Tim Tetrick for trainer Daniel Lagace who co-owns with E. Buhler, Big Als Stables, Brittany Farms Micki Rae, the son of SWEET LOU was bred by Davino, Shackman & Drennan Stable and made his second seasonal victory a memorable one.  He returned a handsome $30.60 and increased his lifetime earnings to over $460,000.

GENTLEMAN’S CLUB finished second; 3-5 favorite BRANDON BLVD was third.
