GAGOSIAN, named for the famed, worldwide art galleries, is developing into the portrait of a promising young trotter, winning his first lifetime start in 1:57.1 at the Red Mile (August 3).

Driven by Dexter Dunn for trainer Marcus Melander and owners Brittany Farms LLC & S R F Stable the 2-year-old son of WALNER, from the successful mare BASQUIAT 3,1:51.2 ($289,748), came from off the pace to win by 2-3/4 lengths in a $10,000 division of the Wildcat Series. 

Posting a :28.3 last quarter, he was bred by Order By Stable and was a $300,000 ‘opening night’ yearling purchase at the 2025 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale. (Amanda Stephens photo)
