Wave Dancer takes seasonal mark.

Brittany Farms has made national headlines recently as breeder of top-ranked 2-year-old filly Manchego 2,1:52.4 ($563,948). And now the farm is making headlines in New York as breeder of the freshman trotting colt Six Pack, who just won the $225,000 New York Sire Stakes final at Yonkers Raceway. (Watch Race)
Like Manchego, Six Pack 2,1:55.4f ($198,642), by Muscle Mass-Pleasing Lady (Cantab Hall) was bred and raised by Brittany Farms and sold as a yearling at the Lexington Selected Sale.
The ever-improving colt, owned by trainer Ake Svanstedt and Jeff Gural’s Little E LLC, Stall Kalmar and Lars Berg, has won half his starts and came into the NYSS final off a pair of ultra-impressive wins in the Simpson Stakes at Harrah’s Philadelphia and a NYSS at Yonkers.
Leaving from the 7-hole with Svanstedt in the bike, the rising star never looked back and won by an increasing margin to raise his bankroll to almost $200,000 on the season.
Congratulations to all, and continued success from all of us at Brittany!
